Bowls, platters, boxes and other turned items

Why "Turned Green?"

Most items are turned from "green" wood - trees fallen in recent storms or cut down because they were damaged, recycling wood that would otherwise be destroyed.   All pieces are from domestically grown trees (grown in the US).  No imported woods are used.

The beauty is in the wood itself

What I do simply exposes what is already there.  Each type of wood has its own unique characteristics, and these can vary considerably even within the same species of tree.  My aim is to produce turned pieces that not only add a touch of beauty to your home, but also have a practical use as well.

Unique gifts

Since each item is turned individually, no two are alike.  They all make excellent gifts, even if the gift is to youself.

A Note About Different Wood

Rosewood has international (import/export) restrictions.  There are no restrictions within the US.  Other woods contain allergens in their raw forms, but are dried and finished, so shouldn't cause allergic reactions in their finished state.  If you have any questions, use the contact form below.
